How to disappoint a Rc enthusiast

How to disappoint a rc-enthusiast.

As many of you already know, eight years after having published photos and favourable reports on the outstanding products of the Traxxas company, both on my personal web and their forums, they sent me emails like these shown below. These mails were sent by an employee of the marketing department where supposedly, both parties( Traxxas and I) were about to reach an agreement. .

Since these mails, there has not been any agreement/ disagreement or subsequent negotiation, which has prevented total completion/cancellation of Traxxas’ offer

Three months after being asked to sign a waiver to allow the commercial usage of my photos(and accepting it), I received a reply, saying that the offer has been put on hold until further notice... .

Hello trucktrial,
I came across one of your post in the "Emaxx & Snow limits" thread. And the pictures you posted were outstanding. It caught mine and a couple of the guys back here at Traxxas headquarters attention. My name is ------- , One of my primary jobs working with our Traxxas marketing team is helping push Traxxas video and photo content for all our social media outlets. I was curious if you would be interested in supplying us with more of those amazing photos and possibly a video if we were to send you a vehicle and some support equipment? You can email me back at the listed address below for further details. We hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks

We would like to send you a Summit and E-Maxx Brushless edition to capture similar images like the ones you have on rc-hiking.com.  We want to use these pictures to publish on our social media feeds and Traxxas.com. If you were to be interested in doing something like this for us, I will work something out here to get a shipment of products, parts and batteries headed your way,  free of charge. All we ask in return is that you capture more beautiful, amazing photos with the products I send you.

We are going to go ahead and get a Summit with some spare parts, batteries and a charger headed your way. I will send you tracking as soon as it leaves our warehouse.  So we are super excited to see more images similar to the ones you have posted. Myself and the Traxxas team want to thank you for helping us out with this project. Can’t wait to see what you get.
Thanks again

The offering has been put on hold until further notice. Sorry for all the confusion.

I’m writing this after not receiving any answer or explanation. Neither from the sender of the mails nor the customer service department. At the time of writing, Traxxas Company, still has the right to use my photos, while I have not received anything of what was agreed on paper in exchange.

My intention in writing publicly is to prevent similar situations happening in the future, and as a warning to the rest of Traxxas’ customers/followers, to take care and exercise caution when receiving a similar offer.
